Colwall School Fayre
Nick, Simon, Malcolm & John
Nick, Simon, Malcolm , John & Edith brought the H&W CFU to Colwall School Fayre back in May 2005. Following a demonstration of foil and epee fencing many enthusiastic boys and girls took the opportunity to try a few hits for themselves. more photos >>>>
Old Fencing Clubs close
After 18 years and a falling attendance Dave Wiggins and Rob Pope have wound up the Leominster fencing club. Also Glynn Thomas, a past County Chairman, informed the County Committee that the remaining members of the Redditch Senior Club have decided to disband at the end of September 2007. Meanwhile fencing at Redditch Youth Club is continuing to grow in popularity with some members doing very well at national events.more >>>>

A new club based at Halesowen College meets on Monday evenings more >>>>
Child protection training
On 17 July 2005, Peter Baron, Edith Haynes, John Haynes, John Hutton, Rob Pope, Nick Soper, Sam Stockley , Simon Webb and Dave Wiggins joined with national coaches and others from the Epee Committee. All successfuly completed the sports coach UK "Good Practice - Child Protection" course. The course was arranged by England Fencing and it will be made available at other venues around the country.
